Principal Investigator
Adema Ribic, PhD
Born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adema specialized in Forensic Genetics at INGEB Sarajevo hoping to land a job with the International Committee on Missing Persons. Having no luck with that, she joined Max Planck Graduate Program in Molecular Biology in Germany instead, and later moved to USA for postdoc. She will start as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia in January 2020. When she is not running (around) the lab, she can be found catching up on latest in sci fi or convincing people that cake is the ultimate breakfast food.

Canine Assistant
Arthur
Arthur’s precise origin is unknown, but his Southern twang is a solid hint. While he dislikes water, he can occasionally be lured into a pool with a good treat and lots of affection. His expertise are support services during grant or manuscript preparation (ask for a demo!).
Senior Canine Assistant
Bea(trix)
Beatrix originates from Florida and has a strong dislike for cold weather, Halloween decorations and misbehaved puppies. As Arthur’s supervisor, she provides necessary guidance during lab’s writing projects.
